Formula

It’s time to go full throttle as we dive into October! We’re getting EV1 back in gear ASAP, cranking up the drive time and putting its components to the test. Meanwhile, the team is working on the powerhouse upgrade: EV1.5, instead of a full blown new EV2.

With EV1.5, we’re taking it to a new level:

New chassis but similar dimensions, Improved suspension geometry, Comfortable Ergonomics and Compact electronics & Data Acquisition system

The Formula Re-Design reviews are coming in this month, so get ready as we improve with EV1.5!

BAJA

This month, the Baja team has been busy brainstorming and designing a multitude of components for the new vehicle coming in the Spring of 2025! This vehicle will feature a new frame, drivetrain system, and suspension layout. Additionally, the team aims to incorporate several innovative electrical components, including a display-equipped steering wheel and helmets with integrated microphones. The team looks forward to showcasing these new components in June of 2025 as we have officially registered for Baja SAE Maryland. Over the next few months, the team will continue designing and fabricating the new vehicle. Stay tuned for more updates as the semester progresses!
